As a valued customer of Elliott’s we wanted to share with you a brand new tool aimed at allowing our customers to assess and reduce their carbon footprint. This calculator has been created by our main chemical supplier Evans Vanodine and allows customers to estimate the total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, expressed in carbon dioxide equivalents (CO2 e), resulting from products purchased, buying habits and delivery impacts.
This enables the user to understand the environmental impact of their actions, identify areas where they can reduce emissions and make informed decisions that contribute to a more sustainable future.
Could your buying habits be having a bigger effect on your carbon footprint than necessary?
Simple product switches like purchasing 5L concentrates of products. An example being a customer currently purchasing a standard 5L dilutable top up product into reusable trigger bottles. 1 bottle of this 5 Litre provides 167 trigger bottles based on 1 x 30ml dose.
Switching to a Super Concentrate of product, which passes the all relevant specifications and quality standards (EN grades) would result in 1 litre of the Super Concentrated chemical providing up to 100 spray bottles of solution into an empty trigger bottle via inbuilt dosing cap.
Therefore 1 x 5 litre Super Concentrated chemical will provide 500 spray bottles into an empty trigger bottle via dosing unit or pump.
